this record is less of a cohesive set of songs and more me experimenting with concepts. all these songs were originally based off loops, electronic and orchestral, which were recorded at my house during a downpour that lasted days. i wasn't able to go outside and was stuck with these instruments. i recorded a few loops which were around 1-4 minutes each, and once the rain had stopped i brought the recordings to matt and tara and we made them into full songs. at some point in the future i'll be releasing Collection, a grouping of songs that were left unfinished or unpublished. these loops will be part of this collection.
once again, thanks to Tara for letting us live with her while we made this album.
